ELITEX-2011 on April 4-5, 2011
ELITEX-2011 will be held during April 4-5, 2011 at India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi . The theme of ELITEX-2011 is “e-Governance: Public Services Closer Home” .
The Hon'ble Minister for Communications & Information Technology, Shri Kapil Sibal will inaugurate the exposition on April 4, 2011 at 10:00 hrs.
The exhibition will focus on the technologies/know-how developed at various institutions under DIT. The participating institutions will get an opportunity to highlight their technologies, services and other activities that can be offered to the industry and public at large.
The Discussion during ELITEX-2011 will cover the state-of-the-art technologies and will provide special focus on the theme.
Technologies know how developed
The ELITEX-2011 will have official participation from all Countries. The official delegations from these countries will focus on the commercial potential and tie-up possibilities on the technologies/services available from India in a separate session during the discussion. All member countries of Asia Electronics Info-Communications Union (AEIU) are being specially invited to participate in the event.
ELITEX-2011 will also focus on presentations from the States in India . State Governments have been requested to exhibit the available/proposed e-governance facilities and the status of IT industry in their respective States. State Governments will also ensure the dissemination of information generated through the ELITEX-2011 in their respective States.
